i will not let myself cause my heart so much misery

'God grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, courage to change the things i can, and wisdom to know the difference'

O God, grant me the serenity to accept life the way it is, courage to change my life for the better, and determination to strive on no matter what happens.

oh im so sick of life; just sick of it (school life, that is)
i will be a million times happier without sch, i swear.
i thank god for my wonderful family and my close friends.

ok heres my facebook personality test results:

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:

You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

ok this quiz is so inaccurate.
thats why i posted it here, too embarrassed to put it up on fb hahaha.
most of it is not even true lah, especially the flirting part omg.
eh i dont flirt lah pls, im not so despo hahah.

oooh and im afraid of failure?
ya right.
i think its more of like im so prone to failing that it doesnt hurt as much anymore.

ok anw, tmrw's racial harmony day!
but i dont think im wearing anything :(
the people in tj are so not sporting!
i dont think any of my classmates are wearing.
and it will be damn paiseh if im the only one who wears hahah.
i'll see how it goes ;)

okay i wasnt feeling emotional at the cinema just now but now i do :(

"Once upon a time there was a wonderful story called Harry Potter. The story was not thousands and thousands of hours long, it was not prejudice or demanding, nor boastful or self-righteous. In fact, it was a simple story. It was a tale of an orphaned boy who thought he was alone in the world, and destined to be so forever. He soon discovered that friendship, love and family were waiting for him at an odd little place called Hogwarts. His friends and his foes fought valiantly through seven years of school, discovering that weaknesses could be overcome and strength could be encouraged through a simple thing called love. Harry Potter thought he was alone in the world, if only he knew that millions of people, like myself, saw him as so much more than a character, but as a friend.
.
.
.

And to the actors who sacrificed their “muggle” childhood to become wizards for real, I thank you with all of my heart. For me, the books and movies go hand in hand. That which isn’t shown in the books I assume happened just off camera, and that which is in the movies, occurred between the lines. Therefore, for me, when I read the books today, I see Dan, Rupert, Emma and all the rests’ faces as their respective characters. Dan, you could not have been a better Harry if you tried, and no one will ever be nearly as wonderful as you. Rupert, I could not thank you enough for being such a skilled and brilliant actor, allowing all of Ron to come out in your performance. And to Emma, I literally could not say enough words to explain how much I am forever in your debt. You brought to life my favourite character of all time, and no one but you could have done it with such grace, style, kindness and brilliance. No one could have cast a more perfect cast, they will always be the true wizards. I do not think it is possible to be more grateful to a person than I am to J.K Rowling, the entire crew and production team and the amazing actors.

But most of all, I’d like to thank the characters themselves, for teaching me the greatest lessons I’ve learnt so far in my 18 years of life. To Harry Potter, who taught me that luck pays no part in succeeding, but courage, loyalty and kindness will always win over evil. To Hermione Granger, my hero and inspiration, for teaching me that intelligence is a trait to be embraced and that wants of myself do not out way the needs of many. To Ronald Weasley, who showed me what fierce friendship and love truly looked like. To Neville Longbottom, who showed me that bravery sometimes may take its’ time in coming to us, but when it does, it can change the world. To Ginny Weasley, for being brave enough to fight not only for love, but for family and friendship. To Hagrid, for showing me that that which is odd to the eye, can be kind to the heart. To Luna Lovegood, for making quirks and unusual traits something to be embraced rather than feared. To Fred & George Weasley, for teaching me how to laugh, even at the saddest of times. Draco Malfoy for showing me that family will always be worth fighting for. To Albus Dumbledore, for never overlooking the good in all hearts. To Minerva McGonagall for standing up to evil for the sake of her students. And, to Severus Snape, for teaching me that love, even that which is unreturned, is the most powerful magic of all.

I will forever miss you, Harry Potter, but your story will forever beat in time with my heart.

- Thank you, Harry Potter (Facebook group)

Being in jc has turned me into a much more sensitive person, and I have no idea why.
I tend to cry more easily and more often these days.
I hate it when people say that I don't put in any effort into my studies.
I do, it's just that you can't expect me to do well every single time.
I hate it when people just stop me from doing something that I love; something that I enjoy doing.
The only thing that makes me happy right now is eating lots of chocolates and of course, my beloved harry potter <3
Those who dare say that it's boring or whatever shit shall die a tragic death, I swear.
Today's religious class was fun by the way.
It was the first time in months that I really laughed a lot.
The lack of laughter in my life right now is probably caused by too much of school I guess.
Being in school is like being in azkaban.
Sucks all the happiness from a place, those 'dementors'.

HARRY POTTER CRAZE!!!

The Guys of Harry Potter Hotness Meter
By Yahoo! Special Project | Harry Potter Mania

By Maui R. Drilon
The Harry Potter film series finally wrapping up this July, and while we're a tad sad to bid adieu to the witches and wizards we grew to love, we're pretty grateful for all the eye candy they've given us the past 10 years. Yes, it's been a decade since the first film came out, and we've seen many of Harry Potter's male characters transition from squeaky-clean young children to ruggedly handsome young men (need some proof? Pop in your past Harry Potter DVDs and spot a rosy-cheeked Robert Pattinson battling a dragon). To celebrate Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 opening this July 14, we decided to give props to the guys of Harry Potter.
Neville Longbottom (played by Matthew Lewis) Over the past few years, we've seen nerds morph from totally-undatable to the "ultimate catch". Good thing Neville grew out of his pudgy stage just in time to savor it! Neville may have started out a klutzy coward, but he's changed into a brave little soldier who would stop at nothing to help Harry and the gang. It's also good to know that in order to play Neville, actor Matthew Lewis has to wear yellow and crooked teeth, shoes that are two sizes too big, and props behind his ears to make them bigger—so at least we know he doesn't look like that in real life.
Is super loyal, courageous, and confident = 90
Doesn't help with the stereotype that the English don't visit the dentist = -30
Hotness Score: 70
Draco Malfoy (played by Tom Felton) When Draco first graced the silver screen, we had "Home Alone" flashbacks: here was a cute, young blond boy who always seemed to get into trouble. Now he's grown into a tall, mean, Harry and Friends-hating machine, just waiting to show the Death Eaters what he's made of. (Or not) The resident leader of the "Mean Boys" club at Hogwarts, Draco is your run-of-the-mill brown-noser with the rich daddy who got him whatever he wanted.
Overconfident prickiness = -40
A bad boy with an overwhelming desire to just be accepted (much like a 2-month old puppy) = 90
Score: 50
Cedric Diggory (played by Robert Pattinson) Sure, Cedric only appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but fans were already giddy to find out who was cast to play the famed "tall and extremely handsome Hufflepuff Seeker". Lo and behold, it was a young Robert Pattinson, rosy-cheeked and 10 times more refreshing than a tall drink of Edward Cullen. Cedric was the ideal campus crush: not only was he easy on the eyes, but he was extremely polite, played fair (he offered to replay a Quidditch match when he found out Harry fell off his broom because of dementors), and was generally nice to everyone.
Tall, handsome, and super nice = 100
Quick, uneventful death under the killing curse = -15
Score: 85
Ron Weasley (played by Rupert Grint) So Ron's a bit whiny, a tad slow, and he's deathly afraid of spiders. But how can we not love Harry's BFF, who finally got girls around the world to give redheads a chance? Ron's super devoted to his family, and would give anything up for his friends (especially Hermione). Sure, he's had his lapses in judgment, like the time he left Harry and Hermione to look for the Horcruxes on their own. But he's proven himself a loyal pal so many times, we'll forgive him. We love that we've seen him grow with the right balance of awkward and adorable—and that he'll finally get his lady love in the end!
Fierce loyalty to his family and friends = 100
The capacity to scream like a little girl = - 30
Score: 70
Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe) Do we even need to explain why? We've seen this guy transform from the round-faced, cute little boy that we wanted to bring home like a puppy from a pet store to a tall, chiseled young man with abs that we want to bring home like, um, a guy from the bar. Despite growing up with awful relatives, Harry turned into the loyal, brave, and loving guy we've all come to know and love.
So down-to-earth and humble despite all the ruckus people make about him = 100
Serious mommy/daddy/Sirius Black issues = -20
Score: 80

ahh im like in love with the harry potter series right now why must it end so fast?!?!
i think i fell in love a bit too late i guess hahahah
i dont want it to end so soon :(
